We provide a gathering space that enriches and strengthens multigenerational and multicultural relationships in the Leelanau community.

Founded four decades ago, the Center is your community center, a space designed to connect and gather everybody in our region. We partner with talented community members to bring wellness, art, and educational opportunities to our friends and neighbors. The Center is also an amazing space to rent for celebrations, classes, events, and more on the weekends. No matter your background, you belong here.

Rentals

The Center is available to rent for celebrations, milestones, and other events during the week and on weekends. When you rent our space, you have access to the main hall, bathrooms, and a small kitchen. Learn more about our 2, 4, and 8-hour block rentals!

Potlucks

We love connecting with the community over food. Join us for our monthly community potlucks on the first Wednesday of every month at 6 PM. Our dinners typically follow a theme and are entirely free! Bring a dish to pass if you are able.

Leelanau Investing For Teens (LIFT) is The Center's flagship youth program. LIFT partners with three of Leelanau County's school districts to provide year-round out-of-schooltime programming to 6th through 12th graders. While some LIFT programming takes place in the basement of our building, the majority of LIFT activities take place

in our permanent classrooms in the schools and outdoors.
