Dave Blain is the Director of Finance with BISYS Insurance Services in Lower Paxton Township. Dave’s responsibility with BISYS includes the financial management of a budget of $200 plus million in revenues and $80 plus million of earnings.  Dave has been with BISYS since 1998.  Merger and acquisition, business integration and operational issues are some of his other responsibilities. Before joining BISYS, Dave worked for the legacy firm of Coopers and Lybrand LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). During his five years with Coopers and Lybrand LLP, Dave gained a vast knowledge of the insurance, banking, higher education, health care and government industries.

Prior to being elected to the Board of Supervisors, Dave was an active member of the Planning Commission and served as Vice Chairman. Dave also serves as Treasurer of the Lower Paxton Republican Committee, as well as the Committee to Elect Lowman Henry, now Dauphin County Commissioner. Dave is also a member of the Colonial Park Rotary Club, Pennsylvania and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Dave serves on the Finance Committee and Stewardship at Calvary.

Dave is a life long resident of Lower Paxton Township and a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, Harrisburg Area Community College and Pennsylvania State University. Dave and his wife Kristin live in the 22nd precinct of Lower Paxton Township and have been married since 1996. Their first child, Peyton, was born in November, 2001.
