BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY TOGETHER

At the heart of our work as your community center is the building that has served Suttons Bay since 1853. We are currently raising funds for an intentional restoration and overhaul of our facilities that will make this gathering space safer, more accessible, and more efficient. Our ultimate goal is to serve you better and provide all of our community members with a place of belonging.

Community Needs Assessment

In 2022, we solicited feedback in an anonymous public survey of Leelanau County residents to better understand our community's needs as well as their awareness of the services currently being offered at The Center.

The survey's principal findings were that Leelanau County residents want more opportunities to gather and connect, want to feel a stronger sense of connection, and largely are not aware of the services and programs we offer at The Center.
